Maple with Rose Tenor Ukulele

$1,125

This tenor ukulele is crafted from solid tone woods: aged Maple for the soundboard, back, sides, and neck. The set of Maple used for this ukulele is special because it was locally sourced on the north shore of Long Island - recovered from storm downed trees. It was processed, stickered, and aged in our shop for 25+ years before being selected and used for this ukulele. This ukulele was born and raised a New Yorker!

Maple is an excellent tone wood, and this ukulele delivers a clear tone with plenty of volume. The headstock is shaped in an “open book” design and boasts a beautiful ink dyed rose on the maple faceplate. The solid wood binding along the body elegantly contrasts the lighter maple and accents the darker figuring in the wood. The green-blue abalone shell position markers and sound hole rosette complete the look.
